Great Dane/Labrador Retriever Mix

Bradley is a Brindle Great Dane/ Black Labrador Retriever mixed breed dog
He entered rescue with C.O.D.A. on 9/8/05
Bradley was saved from Pike County Dog Pound
Pike County is an Ohio Kill Shelter that still gasses dogs to death using a primitive box setup
Pike County Dog Pound was very full and Bradley being an owner surrender was next on the list to die
By the inhumane method of gassing companion dogs to death.
Bradley arrived at CODA smiling and very happy to have gotten out alive


Bradley was so happy to get out alive that the photo above was taken the morning after his neuter surgery

on September 9th 2005, and he was still smiling:)

Bradley is a beautifully marked Brindle
Bradley is also now up to date on all his vaccinations and has heartworm tested negative
Bradley currently weighs 88 lbs and has quite a bit of growing to do yet since he's just a puppy

Bradley was a bit thin but is eating well

Bradley knows the commands, " sit" and " give me paw"
Bradley is crate trained and settles down nicely in his crate at night
Bradley is fine with cats
Bradley got along fine with all the dogs her at our main facility in Cleveland
Bradley is being fostered in a new CODA foster home in Aliquippa PA.
This foster home has adopted one of our CODA dogs Lexi aka Legs and Bradley and Lexi
are keeping each other worn out running and playing in a safe and secure fenced in acre play area.
Jake the resident Labrador and Bradley are getting along well also

Special thanks to Lexi's mom for welcoming Bradley as a foster dog!
Bradley's foster mom has nicknamed him "Sam"

Bradley does need further leash training as he tends to pull a bit on leash
Bradley is also working on learning not to jump up on people when he says hello
Bradley rides very well in a vehicle
Bradley enjoys looking out the window when he's out driving around

We are seeking a home with a secure fenced in play area for Bradley
A home with children over 10 years old.
Bradley is good with children but very active so homes with very young children will not be considered for adoption
Preference given to homes with a young active canine companion and playmate for Bradley
Basic Obedience Class Completion required within 90 days of adoption

Bradley has been adopted by a wonderful family and will be living in Hudson Ohio
Where he will have two other dogs as playmates and very large fenced in yard to play
Bradley has a new wonderful Mom, Dad and two wonderful children to play with!
