Eddie is a Pure Bred Wire Haired Jack Russell Terrier
Eddie was saved from the Scioto County Dog Pound in OH
Eddie was in pretty bad shape. He was covered in fleas and obviously neglected for quite some time.
Eddie's skin was very inflamed from the neglect he's suffered in his past and is currently being treated by our Veterinarian for his skin condition. We are also concerned about Eddie exhibiting some coughing when he's playing and what appears to be shortness of breath.
So Eddie will be seeing our Veterinarian again this week for Heartworm testing and CBC Blood Panel Tests.

 

Eddie is about a year old, maybe a little over.
He weighs 14 pounds.
He's a sweet charming exhuberant little dog who plays very well with the other dogs in his foster home.
Eddie was listed as dog aggressive and cat aggressive when we rescued him on Sept 8th 2004
Eddie has shown no signs whatsoever of having any type of aggression issues towards anyone or any other pets!
Eddie is a very intelligent little guy who already knew, "sit", "roll over", "give me paw" and Eddie loves to play fetch with a tennis ball and will bring it back every time. Eddie is also quite the little power jumper and is extremely agile and coordinated.
Eddie is a very well behaved, well mannered JRT who walks perfectly on a leash, loves to go for walks and has a super personality.
We are totally in love with Eddie already:)

Even in his Shelter Photo we could tell Eddie was just a super dog!

UPDATE
Eddie is medically cleared for adoption.
His cough has cleared up and was kennel cough and not a more serious condition.
Eddie tested negative for Heartworm
Eddie's skin is also much better
Eddie rides well in a car and loves to go for rides
Eddie is totally housebroken and came into rescue housebroken
Better get your applications in quick because Eddie is going to make some lucky person a great lifemate!

Eddie has been adopted by a wonderful couple and their two furkids Lilly and Gus
who are both Jack Russell Terriers and Eddie will have a gorgeous 2 acre completely fenced
in yard to run and play in with his new fursiblings!
