Gemini

(Gemini was one happy puppy when given her own cow's ear upon arrival at CODA)
Gemini is a dog with one eye. Gemini's missing eye has been surgically removed.
Gemini was in Scioto County Dog Pound in OH when CODA was notified about her
need to go to rescue
Potential adopters at the shelter were overlooking little Gemini because of
her missing right eye
Gemini was scheduled to be euthanized so CODA rescued her from Scioto Dog
Pound
Gemini had a bad case of upper respitory issues most likely kennel cough
So CODA had Gemini medically boarded at a Vet's office near the Dog Pound
for a week
before moving her to her foster home in Cleveland Ohio
Gemini was also spayed while at the Vet's office thus the reason for her sporting
the elizabethan collar
in the photo above taken a few minutes after her arrival at her foster home
The E- Collar didn't slow her down a bit when she was given a nice tasty cow's
ears by our Director
Gemini proceeded to try to find a place to bury her cow's ear
_____________________________________________________________
Gemini is approximately 2-3 years old
Gemini weighs 35 lbs and is a small sized dog who is full grown
Gemini loves to roll over to have her belly rubbed and loves to sit in your
lap
Gemini has a very sweet and loving temperment and has been absolutely fine
with the 4 year old
child in her foster home so far.
Gemini hasn't met her new foster sister Annie yet since she's still in quarantine
( We think Annie may be related to Gemini as Annie came from the same Shelter
and they look so much alike)
Gemini is currently in quarantine until she can be examined by our Vet Dr.
Brian after the holiday weekend
Gemini arrived at CODA on May 26th at 5:00 p.m.
Gemini was showing no signs of coughing upon arrival but did have a little
worrisome green goo in one of
her nostrils which is why she is still in quarantine at her foster home
Gemini is also showing signs of yeast infection on her skin which she will
be treated for and she's in dire need
of a very good bath as soon as her spay stitches are removed
Gemini has already received a nice long brushing from her foster Mom
We are currently placing Gemini on herbal supplements to boost her immune
system
