GINNY

Ginny was found as a stray in Cleveland Ohio
Ginny is a darling little tiger striped female kitten who is estimated to be approximately 6 months old
Ginny was born outdoors to a mother cat who was owned by an irresponsible pet owner in Cleveland Ohio
Her mother was thrown to live outdoors because the irresponsible human caretakers found fleas on her and didn't want fleas in the house because they had a new baby so out the door Ginny's mom went
These same irresponsible pet owners of course did not get Ginny's mom spayed before throwing her outdoors to fend for herself
Nor did the irresponsible pet owners provide food for Ginny's mom
Ginny's mom took to wandering across a busy road to get to CODA's main facility where food is always left out
for stray cats, squirrels and birds to eat if they are hungry

After Ginny's mom became pregnant and gave birth to 4 kittens, she started to bring Ginny over daily to eat at CODA's main facility. Ginny is the only kitten of the litter who has been trusting of the humans at CODA and Ginny began to start thanking us
for her daily meals by allowing herself to be petted and held
Ginny was very chubby and did have good nutrition since birth from her daily feedings at CODA
The weather recently turned very cold and one morning Ginny came to CODA's door asking for more than just food
Ginny wanted a warm place to hide from the cold blowing winds and pending snow and ice

Since CODA's main foster facility provides sanctuary to feline lukemia positive cats Ginny could not
stay there after she tested negative for FELV and FIV
Ubi's ( Katrina Dog) foster parents agreed to foster Ginny while CODA seeks Ginny's perfect new home for her.

Ginny is out of quarantine in her foster home and has finished her treatment for tapeworms
Ginny is already having fun playing at her new WARM, loving foster home
Ginny is up to date on all her vaccinations and is spayed now also
Ginny's foster home has a 4 year old daughter and Ginny is very gentle and sweet with her.
Ginny is not scared of dogs either:)
Ginny is coming along very well on her litter box training too!

UPDATE 12/21/05
Ginny received her first set of vaccinations today
UPDATE 1/3/06
Ginny is scheduled for her spay surgery and second set of vaccinations on 1/5/06
UPDATE 1/25/06
Ginny is recovering from her spay surgery and loves to cuddle for hours in anyone lap
Ginny would make a great therapy pet as she so loves to be held and cuddled
