PIPER
DEAF FEMALE 12 WEEK OLD DALMATION /JACK RUSSELL TERRIER MIX PUPPY

This little darling puppy is completely deaf but that doesn't slow her down a bit!
Piper was rescued from the Lenawee County Humane Society in Michigan
The shelter worked with CODA to ensure that Piper would have a good start in life
by being in the care of a rescue experienced with the special needs of deaf dogs
The Shelter Staff fell in love with Piper while she was in their care
Piper was surrendered by her previous owner(s)
Piper arrived at CODA on October 1st 2005

Piper has had her first puppy DHLPP vaccination and has been wormed
Piper also received a bortadello vaccination
Piper is agile like a Jack Russell Terrier and weighs 15 pounds
Piper would take well to agility training and is quite the little jumper
Piper is very coordinated for her age and runs like the wind

 

Piper is being fostered in our Solon Ohio Foster Home

UDPATE 10.25.05
Piper was examined by Dr. Brian today and received her second set of puppy vaccinations
and was started on heartworm preventative
Piper enjoyed meeting Ubi today and they kept each other busy playing
and having fun until it was their turn to see Dr. Brian for their examinations
UPDATE 11.25.05
Piper is doing perfectly on her house training and has learned many "sign language" commands already
Piper has learned, "sit", " no", "come" "crate" and " potty" already in sign language
She's a very smart little darling!

UPDATE 12.19.05
Piper received her last set of Puppy vaccinations and is schedule for her spay surgery on 1.9.05
