SEBASTIAN
Sebastian is a Pure Bred Schnauzer
Sebastian can see and hear fine
Sebastian was saved from The Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter in Cleveland Ohio
and arrived at CODA Dog Rescue on Nov 13, 2004.
Sebastian was picked up roaming stray in Cuyahoga County Ohio
Sebastian remained at the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter for four weeks prior
to CODA rescuing him
Sebastian was very scared and stressed at the Shelter and was not showing
well at the shelter
Sebastians's owners never reclaimed him so the CCAS asked CODA to rescue Sebastian
since he had been at the Shelter for so long and the Shelter is currently
getting in a lot of dogs each week
Sebastian didn't look as darling at the shelter as he does in his CODA photo
above.
Sebastian was covered in burrs and matted badly when we rescued him.
He was a very good boy tolerating a very long bathing and grooming session.
Sebastian is a wonderful little guy who weighs in at a whopping 21 lbs
Sebastian is housebroken and walks perfectly on a leash.
He also knows the command "sit" and rides like a total gentleman
in cars and loves looking out the window
Sebastian will tolerate being kissed on his nose and loves to sit on our laps,
and has shown no signs of aggression whatsoever and is fine with cats and
other smaller sized dogs
Sebastian is a bit scared of Great Big Dogs like our Zeus:)
Sebastian has a super personality and everyone who's met him falls instantly
in love with him
Sebastian is approximately 9-10 years old but Schnauzers have a life expectency
of 14-15 years of age
So Sebastian has plenty of living left to do!
Sebastian is in good health and is neutered and up to date on all his vaccinations.
Sebastian tested negative for heartworm, fecal parasites and was diagnosed
as not having cataracts as the shelter thought.
Sebastian did have some hardening of the lenses but nothing unexpected for
his age
Sebastian has very good vision for his age.
Sebastian is going to make some very lucky person a wonderful companion for
many years to come.
Sebastian is housebroken he was already housebroken when we rescued him
Someone at sometime did train and socialize Sebastian and he reflects that
in his behaviour
Sebastian will make some lucky family a very loving companion!
Sebastian's teeth are in great shape for his age.
Sebastian is very happy that CODA rescued him from the shelter!

Sebastian's's adoption fee is $200.00
We are seeking a home for Sebastian with another small dog as a playmate and
companion
Or a home with a special human who will make Sebastian a spoiled only pet
A home with a safely fenced in area for Sebastian to play and exercise
A home with no children under the age of 8 years old.
Home with Schnauzer experience preferred but not mandatory

Sebastian has been adopted by a very loving and
wonderful retired couple in Shaker Heights Ohio
where Sebastian will be the spoiled only pet. We choose this home for Sebastian
because he did have
a big of dog aggression issues mostly snarly barking but we thought he would
do best as the only pet.
