SILO

Silo is a purebred Australian Shepherd
Silo is six months old born 5/06
He entered rescue with C.O.D.A. on11/4/06
Silo was given away free by his backyard breeder to a young mother of 2 children along with another
Australian Shepherd Puppy
Silos caretaker could not handle training him due to his deafness and Silo has received little to no training
We agreed to take Silo into our program to ensure he did not wind up in a kill shelter
Silo is a very sweet even tempered young boy
He's a bit shy at first but warms up to you quickly
Silo is up to date on all his vaccinations and will be scheduled for neuter surgery this week
Silo is fostering in our new Parma Ohio Foster home where he will receive the sign training and
housebreaking skills he needs to be successful in his new forever home
UPDATES ON SILO COMING SOON SO CHECK BACK OFTEN

UPDATE 11/7/06
Silo is settling into his foster home. Silo is scheduled for his neuter surgery
on November 16th 2006 at Gateway Animal Clinic
Silo's foster mom reports some mild hand shyness when reaching for his collar
or attempting to pick him up. He's had a few potty accidents but is doing better on his potty training skills
Silo wasn't taught to communicate through " sign language" in his previous home so he is now
being taught " sign language" skills and commands
Silo is currently focusing on learning to signal when he has to go potty by knocking on the door
Silo walks nicely on a leash and does not pull at all
Silo is a very lovable puppy who loves to be right next to his foster mom at all times
Silo's neuter fee is priced at $95.00

UPDATE 11/21/06
Silo was neutered last thursday morning and is doing well post surgery.
Silo's foster mom reports that he is coming along wonderfully on his house training skills
Silo hasn't had a potty accident in the house in 11 days now so he's doing fantastic
Silo's foster mom called this morning to say he was gagging and then threw up a bunch of worms
So his foster mom is taking a fecal sample into our Vets so Silo can start on the proper worm medication
immediately to cure his intestinal worms.
Silo is a super sweet and lovable boy. You can't meet him and not instantly fall in love!
