SPLASH

SPLASH is a six month old Red Merle Catahoula Leopard Dog
Splash came to us from Cabool Shelter in Missouri.
The picture above was taken on Splash's transport to us by Nicole in Indianapolis who helped with getting Splash safely to us here in Cleveland
She was a few days away from being gassed to death at Cabool Pound when we rescued her
Splash was very shy and withdrawn when she arrived in resue. She was scared to get in to cars, afraid of men and was very hand shy.
We don't know what horrible things happened to Splash before she arrived in rescue with CODA but she has come a long way in such a short time.

Splash is a very intelligent and lovable little girl. She has learned to play with dogs toys which she was scared of when she first arrived
She loves to play with a "Fetch and Flash" ball here at rescue.
She has also learned to enjoy eating good dog treats like "Bully Sticks" which are her favorite treat.

Splash gets along well with other dogs, is great with the cats and is very gentle with any children she's been tested around.
Splash loves to cuddle and hug and has learned, "sit", "Give Me Paw" , "come", "lay down" and many other voice commands since she has been in rescue
She is a very happy well adjusted 11 month old puppy and is non destructive and has the full run of the house even overnight without any problems
Splash is housebroken and does not like to be crated due to spending so much time in a kill shelter caged.
Splash also helps to round up the deaf dogs when they are out playing in the yard and it's time to come in.

Splash is up to date on all her vaccinations including Rabies and is spayed.
Splash is one Great Dog !

Splash also sends a special thanks out to all the wonderful people who helped her hitch a ride to Rescue with CODA in OHIO.

We are seeking a home for Splash that has the following requirements:

Another dog or pets for Splash to socialize with and have playmates
Six foot stockade fencing
Children are allowed if over 8 years of age

Splash is with her new family in Virginia and we still miss her because she really is

ONE GREAT DOG!
We received a recent update from Splash's new family that Splash and Edward graduated from Basic Obedience class
Splash was a star pupil! Edward and Splash will be taking Advance Obedience classes this January and Edward hopes
to follow that up with Agility Classes and training with Splash.
