WINSTON
MALE PUREBRED MINATURE PINSCHER

Winston is a Pure Bred Black and Red Minature Pinscher
Winston showed up at the door of CODA's main facility on the evening of Friday November 18,2005
screaming at our door and jumping wildly to get inside as if he was fearful of something.
Winston came out of nowhere with no tags, collar and we had him checked by our Veterinarian for a micro chip
and none was found.

Winston was favoring his right front leg/paw and seemed scared of something when he arrived
Winston showed up at a very stressful time here at CODA as a local neighborhood kid had just thrown
an apple through our main entry window and glass had flow all over the place when the window broke
upsetting all the dogs and when the police arrived to take the report Winston appeared at the front entrance
door as the police were preparing to leave.

We crated Winston until we could safely get all the glass cleaned up as his barking at the front door was drawing the other
rescue dogs toward the door and the broken glass

Once things settle down we brought Winston indoors. It was very cold that night and very windy
It was about 20 degrees here in Cleveland that night
Winston settled right in and made himself right at home and had absolutely no fear of the much
larger dogs and Great Danes here at CODA's main facility:)

Winston is currently being held hoping we can find his owner(s) as Winston was in great shape
other than favoring his one paw/leg. He was at a perfect weight, clean, and well taken care of obviously

If we cannot located Winston's owners then we will rehome Winston into an approved loving home

Winston crates well at night and hasn't had any accident and appears to be totally housebroken
Winston has a very loving and sweet personality and is also fine with the cats here at CODA
Winston appears to be about 1-2 years old at most and has plenty of energy


We gave Winston his own little dog sweater to keep him warm, which he's wearing in the photo above
He seems to love his sweater and is taking good care of it!
Winston is very muscular and well built .

No one has come foward to claim Winston and it's been several weeks.
All the local shelters have Winston listed as "found" but no " lost" listings matching Winston
So Winston is scheduled for his neuter surgery on Dec 21st and will be available for adoption
once his neuter sutures are removed. Winston will also receive all his vaccinations and heartworm testing on Dec 21st
We are currently taking applications from interested families to find Winston a new loving home

UPDATE 12.21.05
Winston is now neutered, up to date on all his vaccinations and has been heartworm tested.
We'll have Winston's Heartworm test results back tommorrow.

UPDATE 12/25/06
Winston tested negative for heartworms and has started on his monthly preventative
Winston will be moving to his foster home in Beechwood soon to hang out with Jeeves a Boston Terrier
and further his training until his perfect new home can be found!

Winston has been adopted by a wonderful new Mom and will be living in Parma Ohio
as the spoiled only pet to a Min Pin Experienced Mom!
Winston made himself right at home within minutes of meeting his new Mom:)

he was in foster care with them in Beechwood Ohio. Your hard work ensures Winston will do well
in his new home!

Winston's new Mom reports that she's totally in love with Winston and Winston is doing marvelously
and has made himself right at home!
