Other Cats/Kittens CODA has helped
Callie
(Feral Stray Calico Mother Cat with six kittens)
( Spayed/ vaccinated and released as she remained feral)
Mother Cat to Peter and Five the kittens still awaiting new homes above

Neighbors near our main facility
found the six kittens hidden under their porch and brought them to us
because we were trying to find the prolapse mother cats kittens
Callie visited the feeding center where her kittens were being held by a volunteer
awaiting prolapse mother cats arrival in hopes of reuniting her with her kittens
and re trapping
her to keep her and the kittens safe until her stitches were ready to be removed
from the surgery
Callie visited the feeding center first and made it quite clear that this
litter belonged to her
Prolapse Mother Cat visited also and didn't seem the least bit interested
in the kittens
Callie is being kept safe along with her six kittens who are well socialized
, litter box trained and
FERAL KITTY'S SURGERY
Rectal Prolapse surgery for Feral Mother Cat
who required emergency treatment 8/7/06
Vet Bill =$82.00
Treated 8/7/06 at Gateway Animal Clinic and released 8/8 /06 so she could
care for her
kittens which we were unable to locate and we know were born approximately
7-10 days ago
C.O.D.A re trapped her and had her stitches removed and released her again.
UPDATE
The cat was re-trapped 8/29/06 and had her stitches removed
She continues to do well but her kittens cannot be located and may have been
born dead as she's been spending all
day and night within viewing distance of the feral feeding station
If you can help with a donation for either of the feral mother
cats
and the six kittens
